Lexington Golf Club is a Private, 9 hole golf course located in Lexington, Massachusetts.
Founded in 1895, the club / course operated out of an old barn on what was then the Monroe property. The nine holes were much shorter than today's course. The course was eventually moved from the Monroe pasture to its present location on what was then the Vaille farm in North Lexington (presently 55 Hill St.).
This club has been listed by the USGA as one of the first 100 clubs established in the U.S. It was also named to "GOLF Magazine's" 1995 list of the "First 100 Clubs in America."
The course is very tight with mature trees lining all its fairways. The small greens are fast and undulating, and there are numerous blind tee shots required throughout the round.
There are additional tees that can be used when playing a double loop eighteen-hole round.
Blue tees: par-35, 2,961 yards
Red tees: par-36, 2,740 yards
